London Riverside Church, next to Parsloes Park, will be hosting a free car wash, advice centre and car boot giveaway instead of running normal Sunday services.
The church will also be hosting a Family Fun Day at a local hostel and an SOS DIY service for vulnerable and disadvantaged residents.
Events will take place over the coming weekend.
The car wash is on Saturday, 10 July between 10.30am & 3.30pm at the church centre, in Parsloes Avenue.
An advice centre will also be open at the centre on both days between 10am & 3pm.
Residents can attend a car boot giveaway on Sunday, 11 July, between 10am & 3.30pm.
The church will be helping to keep local green spaces clean, with members of the church also going litter picking in various areas across the borough.
Lead Pastor at London Riverside Church, Gowan Wheeler, said: “Our Love the Borough weekend is all about further mobilising our church outside of its four walls to serve our community.”
