Naomi Nwabueze was given her jab at King George Hospital vaccination hub and received a complimentary box of chocolates.
The nurse that gave it to her, Pamela Watkinson, was also given a box.
Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT) has been able to reach the milestone in just nine months.
“A huge well done and thank you to everyone involved for their determination and resilience to successfully deploy our vaccination programme,” said a spokesperson for the trust.
“We know there’s still so much more work to do. The vaccines offer us the best protection from Covid-19 and are the best way for us to move on from the pandemic.
“If you haven’t already, you can book to receive your vaccine at our centre via the National Booking System.
“Receiving your second jab is also so important to make sure you are fully protected – so please make sure to attend both appointments.”
