No arrests have been made
The 32-year-old victim was knifed inside a property in Lea Bridge Road shortly before 4.30pm on Saturday, 22 August.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to the scene where they found the man suffering with life threatening injuries.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where he died a short time later.
His next of kin have not yet been informed.
Police have launched a murder investigation but no arrests have been made.
