Detectives are trying to identify those involved in the fight
Police responded to reports of a disturbance in Station Approach at around 8.30pm on Saturday, 4 September.
During the incident, the base of a traffic cone was thrown at the victim and caused him to fall to the ground.
Officers administered first aid at the scene and the man was taken to hospital.
As of this morning, he remains in a critical condition.
“Enquiries are ongoing to identify those involved, including the male who threw the object,” said a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police. “There has been no arrest.”
