The charity is appealing for adult board games such as Monopoly and Scrabble
With an increase in residents accessing Havering Mind‘s services, the extra games are needed to help support everyone using the network.
The independently funded charity is looking for games that are either used and complete, or new.
Examples include Monopoly, Scrabble, Logo, Rummikub etc.
Wellbeing and Peer Support Project Worker, David Regan said: “We have seen an increase in people accessing our services and in need of our support.
“We find that offering a distraction, such as playing board games, provides an escape from usual activities, brings people together and really helps to improve people’s mental wellbeing.
“We have a number of groups who meet around Havering, but the games we currently have are dated and worn out.
“Any help would be most appreciated.”
Donations can be dropped off at Harrow Lodge House in Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch.
Opening times are between 10am and 2pm on Monday – Friday.
