Residents can respond to the survey online
The Community Impacts Consultation explains how Highways England plans to reduce the impact of the development on residents and the environment.
It also has information about the legacy benefits they expect the project to create.
Leader of Thurrock Council, Cllr Rob Gledhill, is urging residents to make sure they have their say on the scheme.
“Previous rounds of consultation have led to Highways England withdrawing and altering their plans,” said Cllr Gledhill.
“It is vital that residents make their voices heard while they have an opportunity to do so.”
Cllr Mark Coxshall added: “We want to make sure that we get the significant mitigation required to protect Thurrock’s residents and environment, support local businesses, and unlock the regeneration potential of Thurrock and its Freeport.”
People can respond to the survey on the Highways England website here.
