Offices and toilets inside Havering Town Hall are set to be upgraded
The £2 million pound project would upgrade the main entrance of the west wing and turn it into a new customer service centre.
It would see a new curtain wall entrance installed along with a new sign and wayfinding totem to help people find the entrance. There are also designs for a new ventilation system.
The applicant has submitted a separate plan to improve offices and toilets inside the building as well. Among the plans is a scheme to relocate two historic doors to a different part of the building.
If the project is approved it is expected work would be completed by March 2022.
A decision is expected by Tuesday, 9 November.
