Firefighters tackle house fire in Dagenham

Smoke has been seen coming from Ford Road 

Around 25 firefighters have put out a house fire in Dagenham.

Crews responded to reports half of an end-of-terrace house was alight in Ford Road at 10am. 

Most of the ground floor and half of the first floor was damaged by the blaze. 

There were no reports of any injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
