Mohammed Fadhel with the pigeon he rescued (Credit: BHRUT)
Mohammed Fadhel found the bird in his garden and quickly realised it had been mauled and was bleeding from multiple lacerations.
He brought it inside and set up a makeshift operating table in his kitchen where he could safely treat the pigeon.
Mohammed used his clinical skills to suture the lacerations, with support from his 17 and three-year-old daughters.
The bird was quiet during the procedure and did not resist his attempts to help it. It recovered and is now doing well.
Mohammed’s daughters were also “hugely impressed” with their dad.
