Man wanted by police after woman assaulted in Barking

Police are appealing for help tracing a man after a woman was sexually assaulted in Barking. 

A woman, aged in her 30s, was attacked and sexually assaulted in Barking Park, close to Longbridge Road, shortly before 10pm on 18 November 2021. She is still being supported by specialist officers. 

Detectives want to locate and speak with 30-year-old Ioan Bilasco. He is known to have frequented Leyton and Barking.

“It is vital that we locate Ioan Bilasco,” said detective constable Neil Godwin. “Have you seen him, or do you know of his whereabouts?

“Please call us with any information or contact Crimestoppers anonymously.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 7740/18Nov21 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
