Police name victim of fatal stabbing in Newbury Park

Detectives have named a man who was stabbed to death in Newbury Park. 

Imran Isat, 30, was stabbed at a residential address in Springfield Drive shortly before 1.25am on Saturday, 19 March. 

The London Ambulance Service were called to the property but despite their best efforts he died at the scene. 

A post-mortem examination held on Sunday gave his cause of death as shock and hemorrhage and a stab wound to the chest. 

Two males who were arrested in connection with the investigation have been released without further action. 

Detectives have renewed an appeal for information and for witnesses to come forward. 

Anyone with information that may assist police or any witnesses who are yet to come forward are urged to make contact as soon as possible.
