Firefighters tackle major warehouse blaze in Hainault

About 70 firefighters and ten fire engines remain at the scene this morning (Credit: LFB)

The London Fire Brigade is continuing to tackle a major fire at three warehouses in Hainault this morning. 

Around 125 and 20 fire engines were called to the scene in Fowler Road at 9pm on Wednesday, 21 September. 

“Steady progress is being made this morning and residents are being advised to keep their windows and doors shut due to the smoke,” said a spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade.

Crews from Romford, Dagenham, Ilford, Woodford remain at the scene.

The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
