Craft Beer Festival opens at Romford Market

The festival has been organised by Havering Council

A Craft Beer Festival opens for the first time today at Romford Market.

The event includes a variety of beer, live music and street food.

A range of Tap East and guest draught beers are on offer – plus bottled beer from different parts of the world.

The showcase of local talent includes Collier Row’s Sammy-Jo Evans, Rainham-based band TJ vocals, Fairkytes Live and Havering Show favourite’s The Echoes.

The event has been organised by Havering Council.

Councillor Damian White, Leader of Havering Council, said:

“This is the next in a line of exciting events, laid on by the Council, for Romford Market.

“Romford has a rich heritage of brewing beer, so it feels only fitting that we celebrate that in the heart and soul of the town – Romford Market.

“I hope everyone comes along, drinks responsibly, and raises a glass to our historic market.”

It’s taking place between 12pm and 5pm today.
