Broken manhole cover causing traffic problems in Romford

A manhole cover near Raphael’s Park in Main Road has collapsed, causing minor delays to traffic in Romford.

Police have closed a lane heading into Romford town centre, meaning vehicles can only go one way at a time.

It had been causing queues between Gallows Corner and the town centre but traffic is easing now.
