Regular alterations will be made to the timetable due to engineering work
However, the train operator has warned capacity will remain extremely limited due to social distancing measures in place.
“The Prime Minister’s instruction on Sunday evening was to avoid using public transport if at all possible, and we thank you for continuing to observe this,” a c2c spokesperson said.
They have asked people to cover their face while travelling and to remember to wash their hands or use hand sanitiser.
Commuters are also asked to delay their journeys when possible to avoid the busiest hours in the morning. West Ham station is particularly busy between 6.30am and 7.30am.
Other advice includes using contactless payments as ticket office opening times will be limited. Smartcards can also be used to buy tickets online, which can then be collected directly from the gates. This is the simplest way to maintain a safe distance at the station.
Regular alterations will be made to the timetable due to engineering work. This includes next week and commuters are advised to plan ahead by finding more information here.
