Businesses in the Romford BID area are eligible to enter
The Romford Business Improvement District (BID) is looking for people who the local community can depend on.
“It could be the woman who works in the tea shop and always has a smile for someone,” said CEO of Complete, Gerry McKeown.
“It’s really just to up the profile of all these businesses and the people who really help everyone.”
All of the votes are going to be collected and put forward to an independent panel who will then select the final winners.
Candidates will be judged based on longevity, innovation, social impact, reputation, business success and general attitude.
Anyone who works in the Romford BID district is eligible to be entered.
Each winner is going to be celebrated with their own campaign across twelve days in January.
It will mark the start of the Romford Business Hero campaign which is due to take place throughout 2020.
People who submit a nomination are automatically entered into a prize draw where they can win one of six vouchers worth £25.
The voucher can be spent on any business operating in the BID area.
You can make your submission to Town Hosts who are operating in the town centre.
Alternatively you can nominate someone online here.
Nominations close at 5pm on Sunday, 1 December.
