Dog walker may have useful information after body found in Epping Forest

Investigators are appealing for a dog walker who may have information after a body was found in Epping Forest.

Police were called on Thursday around 6.50pm to reports of a man’s body in the forest.

At around 6.30pm that evening a dog walker was seen near The Oak pub with a large black or dark coloured dog.

It is believed they may be able to help police with their investigation.

The death of the man is being treated as unexplained and a post mortem examination is expected to take place today.
