Drug dealer jailed for eight and a half years following raid in Romford

A drug dealer from Walthamstow has been sentenced to eight and a half years imprisonment for drug supply offences. 

Dene Nutt, from Easleigh Road, was arrested after a raid on a property on Yew Tree Gardens in Romford on July 16 this year.

During the subsequent search of the property officers found  a locked safe which contained a large quantity of cash and an Audemars Piguet watch.

In total, £36,335 was found and the watch was valued at over £13,000.

Later on that day Nutt was charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine, conspiracy to supply cannabis, possession of criminal property and possession of cannabis. 

Analysis of encrypted data which was recovered as part of a wider operation found that Nutt had been responsible for the supply of at least 2.5kg of cocaine and 10kg of cannabis. 

They also discovered conversations where Nutt bragged about the large amounts of cash he had and also took pictures with it. 

He pleaded guilty to all offences and was sentenced on Monday, 13 December to eight and a half years imprisonment for all offences.
