Former Hammers’ boss Pardew leaves West Brom

Former West Ham manager Alan Pardew has left West Bromwich Albion by mutual consent.

The club announced the news today following discussions between both parties.

Assistant Head Coach John Carver will also be leaving.

In a statement the club said: “[We] would like to thank Alan and John for their efforts and wish them well in their future endeavours.

“First-team coach Darren Moore has been placed in charge of first team affairs until further notice.

“The Club will not be making any further comment at this time.”

Pardew took over from Tony Pulis as manager at The Hawthorns four months ago and in that time he managed just one league win.

He leaves the Baggies bottom of the Premier League with six games remaining.
