Investigation launched after man stabbed in Collier Row

Police have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed in Collier Row, before being forced into a vehicle.

The man, in his 20s, was found last night in New North Road in Ilford.

It’s not thought his injuries are life threatening and no arrested have been made.

In a statement the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 8.05pm to reports of a man being forced in to a vehicle in Hainault Road.

“Around 30 minutes later, police were called by London Ambulance Service after a man, aged in his 20s, was found suffering stab injuries in New North Road.

“He was taken to hospital for treatment, his injuries are not life threatening.

“Officers from the East Area Command Unit investigate.”
