Leyton Orient have confirmed that they have parted company with First Team Manager, Kenny Jackett.

They released a short statement after the club suffered a 0-2 loss at home to Bristol Rovers which leaves Orient sitting 18th in the table.

The Sky Bet League 2 club haven’t won a game since they beat Swindon Town 4-1 back on December 7.

A run of ten league games in which they have scored just two goals.

Jackett’s assistant, Joe Gallen, has also departed the club.

The club’s statement thanked both Jackett and Gallen and wish them well for the future.

Jackett joined the club in the summer after a four year stint at Portsmouth.

He leaves with a win percentage of 31.6% from the 38 games he took charge of.

Further details regarding who will take temporary control of first team affairs will be communicated in due course.
