Man arrested after alleged rape in Grays.

A man has been arrested in connection with an alledged rape in Grays.

Officers were called to Kilvert Wharf yesterday afternoon

A 47-year-old has now been arrested on suspicion of rape.

He remains in custody.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
