A teenager has been arrested after being allegedly found with a knife in the Brewery in Romford.
Police were called just before 8pm yesterday where they detained the 18-year-old.
Witnesses claim a man was brandishing a machete.
People on social media said others were throwing chairs at the man in order to protect themselves.
Restaurant-goers were forced to flee out the fire exit to escape the carnage before later being allowed to return.
Shocked to have witnessed knife altercation @BreweryRomford this eve. Man swung chair inches from my 6 yr old’s head to defend himself from man with a knife. Hope no one got hurt after we left. Kids are terrified. ? #Romford
