Man fighting for his life after Tilbury collision

A man and woman have been taken to hospital after a collision in Tilbury.

Police were called to the incident in Muckingford Road just after 10.30am today where it’s believed a car collided with a tree.

The woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries although they aren’t believed to be life threatening or changing

The man remains in a life-threatening condition after being air-lifted to hospital.

The road has been closed to traffic.
