Man left with broken jaw following altercation in North Stifford

A man has had his jaw broken following an altercation near Lakeside, leaving him needing screws and plates fitted.

Police received reports of a disturbance at around 2.45pm on Sunday, 4 November in Arterial Road North Stifford, between the Treacle Mine and Sainsburys.

It is believed the victim was punched and knocked to the floor when he got out the vehicle he was in at the same time as two men in a grey Vauxhall Vivaro also got out.

Following the incident the two men in the van drove off.
