Two hospitalised as car overturns in Dagenham Heathway

Two people have been taken to hospital after a car overturned in Dagenham Heathway.

The collision, involving two vehicles, happened towards the Wood Lane end of Heathway this morning.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 11.18am today to reports of a road traffic collision in Heathway, Dagenham.

“We sent two ambulance crews and an incident response officer to the scene.

“We assessed several people at the scene and took two patients to hospital.”

The road has since reopened.

It’s not the only serious crash in Barking and Dagenham today; a man died in a serious crash in Ripple Road, Barking this morning.
