Detectives are looking to speak to the driver of a blue Transit van who broke up the incident.
The victims were approached by a group of teenagers on the corner of St Michael’s Road and Linford Road in Chadwell St Mary’s at around 4.30pm on the afternoon of Wednesday, 24 January.
The group was reported to be made up of four to five teenagers, with some of them walking and others riding on bicycles.
All of the teenagers had their faces covered, but one wore a black coat with writing on it and fur around the hood.
