A man from Redbridge has been charged with terror offences.
Ahmed Aweys will appear in court later charged with three counts of dissemination of terrorist publications.
The 32-year-old was charged along with Abdulaziz Omer Munye, 26 and of north London.
Abdulaziz was charged with one offence under section 2 of Terrorism Act 2006.
This was following four arrests made by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command as part of an ongoing operation.
On Thursday police arrested a 30-year-old woman on suspicion of collection of information, she remains in police custody.
In April a 29-year-old man from east London was arrested oon suspicion of terror offences.
He remains on bail to return to a south-London police station in mid-August.
