A teenager from Redbridge has been charged following a stabbing at Woodford underground station.
The 16-year-old boy appeared in court yesterday regarding the stabbing that happened at around 5.30pm on Monday afternoon.
The suspect was arrested on Tuesday. He attended Highbury Corner Magistrates Court under a charge of wounding with intent.
It was one of two stabbings that occurred at London underground stations on Monday afternoon, following an incident at Upney.
The victim suffered a wound to his shoulder. He was taken to hospital and is now in a stable condition.
