Two men have been arrested over a crash that killed a man on the A13 in Rainham.
The collision happened just before 10am today on the eastbound carriage between Ferry Lane and New Road.
London Ambulance Service, London’s Air Ambulance and London Fire Brigade attended alongside police.
A man, believed to be in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are trying to trace his next of kin and inform them.
Two 18-year-old men have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating and officers would like to speak to witnesses.
