A 31-year-old man was punched and then hit his head on the pavement in Station Parade at around 11.15pm on Friday, 6 April.
He suffered a fractured skull and bleed to the brain, and still has a number of side effects as a result of the attack, including recurrent headaches.
Investigators have now released footage of a man they want to speak to in connection with the attack.
He is described as of Eastern European appearance in his mid-20s. He is around 5ft 5in tall, and with short, dark-coloured hair.
