A young woman has suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car in Ilford

Police are dealing with a serious collision involving a young woman on Cranbrook Road in Ilford. 

The victim was reportedly hit by a car and suffered serious injuries on the road. 

Officers were called to the junction with Tanners Lane at 11.40am today. 

They were accompanied by the London Ambulance Service who also attended the scene. 

Cranbrook road is closed while emergency services deal with the incident.
