Woman robbed while sat in her car in Rainham

A woman has been robbed at knifepoint by a group of men in Rainham.

She was sat in her car in Allen Road yesterday afternoon when she was approached by the group.

Her car keys were stolen and the vehicle was damaged in the incident, which happened at around 12.45pm.

The victim suffered minor injuries, while a male passenger who fled the scene has been arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.

The robbers fled the scene in their own car and police have started an investigation to try and locate them.
