The 30-year-old victim was found on Tuesday, 3 March, in Banbury Road, with gunshot injuries.
Officers conducted a warrant at an address in Waltham Forest this morning.
The 32-year-old suspect was then arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, possession of ammunition and possession of class A and B drugs.
It is believed the suspect or suspects fired shots from the street through the front door, striking the victim.
She was taken to hospital, where her condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
