Appeal after series of burglaries in Chadwell St Mary

An investigation is underway after a series of burglaries in Chadwell St Mary.

Essex Police is appealing for witnesses of suspicious behaviour after the incidents on Wednesday, 28 October.

A woman heard the computer console downstairs of her property make a noise at around 2.30am.

She woke in the morning to discover her TV and a small amount of cash had been taken.

Two other properties also had marks around the back-door handles.

A man described as in his 30s, wearing a black coat with a hood pulled up, was seen walking away from one of the properties.

The incidents are believed to be linked.

Police are appealing to hear from anyone with information, CCTV or dash cam footage from the time.
