The permanent four metre display was unveiled at midday on Sunday, 7 November on top of the embankment at the Heritage and Military Centre, following a procession and remembrance service.
After meeting at the Centre in the morning, the procession led to St Stephen’s Church to honour those who had lost their lives.
Mayor Cllr Sue Shinnick was among those who attended.
Essex Police Officers also attended, saying via social media that “this impressive four metre display will be a permanent reminder of those soldiers who gave their lives for us.”
