Police were called to Shrubland Road on Friday, 8 September, at around 3.40pm after the collision between the vehicle and three-year-old child was reported.
The victim was immediately taken to hospital and remains in a serious but stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and has been spoken to by police.
No arrests have been made so far.
The investigation is being led by officers from the Met’s Serious Collison Investigation Unit who are appealing for witnesses, information and any dash-cam footage.
