Services between Shoeburyness and Fenchurch Street are now running every 30 minutes rather than the usual 15. In some cases, delays appear to be lasting even longer.
Those going through Ockendon will now start and terminate at Pitsea.
C2c has announced a train shuttle service will run from Southend Central to Shoeburyness.
Problems could last until 3.30pm.
1. We’re sorry to say that due to a broken rail at Southend Central having an impact across the whole c2c network. Train services may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Please see our Journey Check for more info – https://t.co/P979hSk5BQ
