A man in his 20’s was reportedly assaulted by four men on the High Street, around 1pm last Tuesday afternoon.
The victim had just got inside his white pickup truck with a drop side, when the incident happened.
The group, all believed to be in their 20s, were driving a silver car.
Police believe the attack was targeted.
Anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage, are asked to call Grays CID on 101 quoting crime reference 42/143388/20.
