A13 collision leaves a number in hospital

A number of people have been taken to hospital following a collision on A13 this morning.

Emergency services were called at 03.41am to Beckton Alps to reports of a collision between a car and van.

Their injuries are currently being assessed.

Road closures are in place while emergency services deal with the situation.
