Happy Fun Friday everyone!
For those of you who may not know, my name is Alice and I work on the Breakfast show between 6am-10am weekdays with Neil Andrews, Tom Lane and Haydn Jeavons.
Getting into work, sharing your stories, hearing the great music and enjoying the banter with my fellow presenters really starts my day right (Despite the early mornings!)
Over the last few years, I’ve been involved with some great features on the show and I’ve learned so much!
Below you can see just some of the silly things we get up to in the mornings.
I’ve got involved in a pie eating contest for National PieDay (Neil won!), discussed when it’s ok to talk about *whispers* Christmas (Yes it is too early! My birthday is late November, no Christmas before Dec 1st please!!) Even experimented with different teas (The result is that I still don’t drink tea and no-one should EVER drink smoky lapsang teas…. I’ll stick to my hot blackcurrant when the studio is cold!)
This week I’m not doing very well on our BANGERS OR SMASH feature – looks like Tom and Neil are the winners! But I’ve LOVED the different tunes we’ve chosen. We’ve picked between the worst British number ones. tracks from the 50’s, country tracks, 80’s vs 90’s and our Fun Friday favourites specials. I can’t wait to see what tunes you pick for us to play next week.
