With the release in cinemas this week of A Prayer Before Dawn, the true story of an English boxer jailed in Thailand’s most notorious prison who has to fight his way out by competing in kickboxing tournaments, the Music from the Movies theme is ‘Prison Films’.
There are lots of films set in prisons, from The Green Mile to Mean Machine and Bronson to Brubaker, I’ll be playing popular music from each of their soundtracks and lots of other prison films too.
