WELL after an eventful July, August is a time to catch up on that life admin (Anyone else struggling through their taxes right now??)
I’ve got a friend’s wedding in October and 2 hen do’s for her to help plan, which has been great fun so far! – Thankfully she’s NOT a bridezilla in the slightest! It’ll be a wonderful day and time has gone so quickly! AND my best friend is having a baby and I think I’ve been volunteered to do the baby shower!!
Got any big events coming up? Any tips for low budget party planning??
The N-act Theatre tent at the Village Green festival on 13th July was such a success and we’re getting more bookings for our Mental Health, Anti-gang crime and Internet safety shows coming through. I’ll even be going back to Oman in November! We’ll be performing INVISIBLE at the British School Muscat and the headteacher is a big supporter of the arts, so it’s such an honour to be asked back.
Things are back to normal now Neil is once again in the Breakfast chair, the bad jokes are just a cheesy as ever and it’s still a breakfast bonanza of a show! Thank you for all of your supportive messages, he was very touched by your kindness.
Steve Dean will be popping in and out covering for Neil at times and today we enjoyed talking about things your parents didn’t allow you to do and your favourite traditional pudding, as things like flans, banoffee pie and pineapple upside-down cake are going out of fashion (I LOVE Banoffee pie!!!)
Anyone else not allowed to pierce their ears till they were 16?… I’ve now got 5 to make up for the lost time! And may get another one soon…
I hope your August is an eventful one – especially all the families out there spending time together for the summer holidays! Check out your local parks and take a trip out to somewhere new, enjoy yourselves! Maybe head to my hometown! Southend seafront is great fun! 😀
