It comes as a trial to combat anti-social behaviour in the area has been extended for a further 6 months.
A CCTV tower was set up at the junction between Ardleigh Green Road and Squirrels Heath Lane in December following concerns from residents and businesses.
The tower is being removed today, but more traditional cameras have already been installed.
Covid marshals have also been patrolling the area and additional buses have been introduced to allow students to leave promptly at the end of the day.
