Two lorries and a van were involved in the crash at around 1.45pm on Monday, 27 January on the A282 anti-clockwise.
One person was left seriously injured. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Four other people were left with minor injuries and were left in the care of the ambulance service.
The road was temporarily closed while officers cleared the scene.
All lanes reopened around 4.40pm.
