Firefighters worked with paramedics at the scene of the collision involving three vehicles on the London bound carriageway.
The road was closed 8.15am on the morning of Friday, 9 April as recovery work was completed following the crash.
The casualties were rescued from their cars by 9am and were left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
