A 31-year-old man is in hospital after being stabbed in Marks Gate.
A crime scene is in place after the attack in Gibbfield Close at around 5.30pm today.
The victim was taken to hospital in a critical condition but police now say his injuries are not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made.
