Woman sprayed with liquid during burglary in her home in Hutton

Essex Police has launched an investigation

A woman has had a liquid sprayed in her face by a group of men who stole two watches from her home in Hutton Mount.

Four people wearing balaclavas forced their way into a property in Heronway at around 10.20pm yesterday (Tuesday, 24 September).

The victim, who is aged in her 40s, was not seriously injured.

Police are appealing for help identifying the four suspects, who are all described as white men and were wearing dark clothing.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has CCTV or dash cam footage, or any other information is asked to call Essex Police on 101 quoting the crime reference number 42/153187/19.
