A man was arrested after two men were found with stab injuries in Petersfield Avenue
Police were flagged down by members of the public at around 5pm in Petersfield Avenue on Friday, 9 February – where two men, both in their 20s, were found with stab wounds.
The victims were taken by London Ambulance Service to an east London hospital where their injuries were determined as not life threatening.
Officers quickly identified a 38-year-old suspect and he was arrested later that same evening on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
He was taken to an East London police station and was bailed to return on a date in mid-May.
Detectives from East Area CID are investigating what they say appears to have been an isolated incident.
