Gallery: Shops and staff honoured at The Liberty Shopping Centre awards

The ceremony took place in the centre yesterday

Stores in The Liberty Shopping Centre have been celebrated at its annual Retailer awards.

There are 110 shops in the centre, with awards handed out at a ceremony yesterday.

JD Sports took the top award, being named retailer of the year.

Jacky Ridley, who works on the Benefits cosmetic counter at Boots, received the trophy for best salesperson.

Best independent retailer went to Small Talk Tea Rooms, which only opened earlier this year is has proved to be very successful.

Lush was recognised as the store which provides the best customer service.

And Hotel Chocolat won “Best Participation in Liberty Shopping Centre Events and Promotions”

The winner and finalists of the above-mentioned category, with the mayor and Weininger Irwin , the first ever winner of the UK version of Gladiators

The event was hosted by Time 107.5’s Mark Dover.
